Rules and Policies of the IVC Library

The library is a place where students may come to work on school related activities in a quiet environment.   Large tables are available for students to work alone or with a group to complete a project or other homework. Mrs. Tortat, the library/information specialist is available every day to help students with technology issues, research, presentation work, and finding books.  

Book Checkout

Book and Material Checkouts
Students may check out three books for two weeks.
Late Fines
Any books returned after the due date is charged five cents a day.     
Lost or Damaged Books
If a student loses or damages a book, he or she will be responsible for paying the replacement cost of the book. 

Using the library

Library Hours  
School Days
7:30 - 3:00

Students may quietly use the library tables  before and after school to complete school work.  
Students will be asked to leave if: 
- they become rude, disruptive, and disrespectful.
- they are not working on
  school work
- using materials and
  computers inappropriately
